Designed by Virgil Abloh—artist, designer, artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear, and founder of Off-White™—for the ICA exhibition Virgil Abloh: "Figures of Speech," on view July 3-September 26, 2021.
Virgil Abloh regularly borrows objects, signs, and symbols from his surroundings. Options (front) calls attention to a grim part of urban living in the form of police evidence markers. The back of the shirt features mannequins from the Louis Vuitton Men’s Collection “Darkside of the Rainbow," 2018, based on Abloh's first-season debut at Louis Vuitton, which featured an unprecedented number of models of color.
Screen printed in the USA on a classic Champion tee, with unisex sizing that's made to fit everyone. Note new label! Current orders will receive an updated version of this tee with a new label designed by Virgil Abloh printed directly on the garment. (See last image.)
