The woman in Untitled (Emana) (2004) is a coy and demure starlet whom Dr Lakra has coated with tattoos, and surrounded with inked drawings of devils, serpents, skulls, and ghosts. The dark and cartoonish figures perched on her shoulder and whispering in her ear transform the woman's seemingly harmless beauty into a wild, renegade, and perhaps dangerous force.
