The Adinkra symbol for beauty is 'D'uafe' which is a comb with an eye. It's a representation of beauty being in the eye of the beholder. As well as an affirmation that you can choose how you see and respect your own beauty and power.
The foundational philosophy of All Very Goods is that representation matters.
We imagine an alternate universe where the celebration and appreciation of diverse cultures and peoples, and in particular Black culture and Black people, are a normal part of everyday life. We then imagine products that would exist in that world and create them here.
